Train the Next Hero! FREE First Aid & CPR Workshop Aug 9, 2025

“Train the Next Hero!”, presented by Coast2Coast First Aid & Aquatics, is an annual free event with a goal to teach the citizens of Toronto basic life-saving skills while raising awareness about the importance of knowing First Aid & CPR. This free workshop takes place on August 9th at Mel Lastman Square in North York. This is an all-ages workshop and we encourage you to attend with your family. What To Expect:

Observe our professional instructors to learn, practice and master life-saving skills at our different First Aid and CPR stations

Earn a Coast2Coast First Aid & CPR Workshop Participation Certificate upon successfully completing all stations

Colouring and games booth for children

Ticket Information:

Tickets are reserved based on workshop starting times. Entry is FREE. The full workshop takes roughly 30 minutes to complete, and you may stay as long as you like after/prior to completing it.

PLEASE READ:

If you do not reserve a ticket prior to attending, you may still attend the workshop. By reserving your ticket, you will skip the registration line. If you miss your start time, you may attend a later start time. Please bring a copy of your ticket to the event and arrive early.

You will be separated into groups and led by a workshop volunteer to each station. Please be sure to arrive early in order to attend the workshop you registered for.

Please arrive EARLY for your time slot. If you are late, you must wait for the next time slot.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Please be advised that this is not a full Canadian Red Cross CPR training. If you wish to attain a Canadian Red Cross certification, please check out our website at www.c2cfirstaidaquatics.com or call us at 866-291-9121.

This workshop takes roughly 30 minutes to complete. You must complete all 3 stations in order to receive your Coast2Coast First Aid & CPR Workshop Participation Certificate. Please check in with the registration booth as you arrive. You will receive all necessary materials to begin the workshop.

All ages are welcome to attend. Although the main event is geared towards adults, there will also be a colouring booth available for children.
