FAQ

What can I expect from the 1-day pottery workshop?

Our 1-day workshop is designed for beginners and enthusiasts looking to try pottery for the first time. During the session, you will learn basic pottery techniques, including wheel throwing and hand-building, guided by our experienced instructors. By the end, you’ll create your own piece of pottery to be glazed and fired.

Do I need any prior experience?

No prior experience is necessary! Our workshop is beginner-friendly, and we’ll provide all the guidance you need to make your pottery piece.

How long is the workshop?

The workshop typically lasts 2-3 hours, depending on the size of the group and the techniques covered.

What is included in the workshop fee?

The fee covers:

  • All materials (clay, tools, and aprons)
  • Instruction by our skilled pottery teachers
  • Glazing and firing of your finished piece (ready for pickup within 2-3 weeks)
How much does the workshop cost?

The cost varies depending on the type of workshop and group size. Please check our website or contact us directly for the most up-to-date pricing.

Can I take my pottery home the same day?

Unfortunately, no. Your pottery will need to be dried, glazed, and fired, which takes about 2-3 weeks. Once ready, we’ll notify you to pick it up.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little messy. We provide aprons, but pottery can be a hands-on (and sometimes muddy) experience. Closed-toe shoes are recommended.

Can I bring friends or family?

Absolutely! Our workshops are great for groups, whether it’s a date, family outing, or a fun activity with friends. Group rates may be available.

Is there an age requirement?

Our workshops are suitable for participants aged 12 and up. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

How do I sign up?

You can sign up directly through our website or by contacting us via email or phone. Pre-registration is required to secure your spot.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance are eligible for a full refund or rescheduling. Cancellations within 48 hours may not be refunded but can be rescheduled at our discretion.

Where is the workshop held?

All workshops are held at Happy Hands Pottery Studio, located at 57 Mill Street N,Brampton, ON L6X 1S9. Ample parking is available on-site.

Can I host a private workshop or event?

Yes! We’re happy to organize private workshops for birthdays, corporate events, or other special occasions. Please contact us to discuss your needs and availability.
