In this 4-week course, students will learn how to draw flowers using pastels in a fun and approachable way. Each week, a new flower will be brought into class so students can draw from real life instead of just photos. At the start of every class, there will be a short demonstration showing how to approach that week’s flower.
What to expect:
Students will have time to really look at and study the flowers before they begin drawing, which helps build observation skills. From there, they’ll be guided step by step through the drawing process.
As the weeks go on, the flowers will get a bit more detailed and challenging, helping students grow their skills and confidence. The main focus of the course is learning how to blend, shade, and break down flowers into simple shapes to make drawing them easier.

By the end of the course, students will:
- Feel more comfortable drawing from real life
- Know how to blend and layer pastels
