In this 4-week course, students will learn the fundamentals of watercolor painting while creating detailed and expressive mushroom illustrations. Each session focuses on building confidence with watercolor through essential techniques such as wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, layering, blending, and brush control.

By painting different types of mushrooms each week, students will gradually develop a deeper understanding of watercolor behavior and improve their ability to observe form, texture, and color. This course is ideal for beginners who want to explore watercolor in a structured, supportive, and creative environment.

What to expect:

Throughout the course, students will complete one mushroom watercolor painting per session. Each week builds upon the previous one, helping students become more comfortable with watercolor techniques and more confident in their painting process.

Students will work from provided reference images and follow a clear step-by-step approach, making the course accessible even for those with little to no prior watercolor experience.
