Workshop Overview

Students will create a shadow drawing out of pastels. This workshop will teach students how to break down an image into lights and darks. Students will learn to how to subtract figures into a shadow creating a warmed lived in feeling. The use of oil pastels is essential for this workshop, due to thier ability to blend.
