Workshop Overview

Ready to try illustrating anime scenes with acrylic markers? In this course, we will illustrate a delicious bowl of ramen from the Studio Ghibli film “Ponyo.” We will be using acrylic markers and a drawing pen to complete the anime look.

What to expect from this workshop::
📘 In each week of the course, the session will start with a short lesson and demo on the techniques that we will be using that day
⚠️ Students will transfer a sketch from a reference outline image onto their watercolor paper using tracing paper     
📐 The instructor will share which colors to use and mix to achieve the colors of the reference image while encouraging the students to try selecting colors of their own

📚 What students will learn:

🖍 How to illustrate animated food scenes with acrylic markers  
🎨 How to identify colors or mix some to achieve the colors we want based on the reference image
✏️ How to make animated drawings pop with a drawing pen
