Workshop Overview

Are you ready to further hone your watercolor practice? In this watercolor workshop, you will be painting a decadent winter-themed chocolate cupcake. You will be using different watercolor techniques like wet on wet, wet on dry, and dry on dry painting, layering, and blending to make your watercolor painting look delectably realistic. You will also learn how to use white gouache paint to add shine and sparkle to your watercolor paintings.

What to expect from this workshop::
📘 The session will start with a short lesson and demo on the techniques that we will be using to paint a chocolate cupcake   
⚠️ Students will transfer a sketch from a reference outline image onto their watercolor paper using tracing paper    
📐 The instructor will share which colors to use and mix to achieve the colors of the reference image while encouraging the students to try mixes of their own

🖍 How to paint a realistic chocolate cupcake using watercolor        
🎨 How to paint neatly while avoiding muddy colors
