Course Overview

• Duration: 6 weeks
• Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate - Level 2
• Who can Join: Already know how to make a center and a cylinder shape. or Completed Beginner level 1 course
• Techniques Covered: Hand-building, wheel throwing, trimming, glazing
• Focus: Creating both functional pieces and expressive art
• Class Structure: 2hours 45minutes sessions with last 15-minute cleanup period
• Bring Your Own: Apron & small hand towel

This 6-week advanced beginner wheel throwing program is designed to help participants build on their foundational skills and refine their techniques. Over the course of six 3-hour sessions, participants will advance their wheel throwing skills by creating more complex forms, working on consistency, and experimenting with design elements. The final two weeks will focus on glazing techniques, allowing students to finish their pieces with beautiful, functional glazes.

• Age Requirement: 15 years old and up
• Attire: Avoid short skirts/dresses and long nails for wheel operation
