Kids Summer Camp for kids. Ages 6 – 12. Pre-registration is required.

CAMP FAQ’s

$

What are the camp hours?

The camp runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Full-Day. Half Day: 9 - 12pm

Are all materials included in camp?

Yes, All materials are included in camp.

What are the drop-off and pick-up times?

Drop-off is between 8:45 AM and 9:00 AM. Pick-up is between 3:30 PM and 4:00 PM. Please note, aftercare is not provided at this time. All campers must be picked-up by 4:00 p.m.

What should my child bring to camp?

Your child should bring their own snacks and lunch each day. While we cannot guarantee a nut-free environment due to shared public spaces, we make every effort to provide a safe environment for all campers. Please ensure that all snacks and lunches do not contain any nuts to prevent potential allergic reactions.

What types of activities will my child participate in?

Our camp offers a variety of activities including arts and crafts, and educational workshops tailored to children ages 6-12.

What happens if my child forgets their lunch?

If a camper attends camp without a lunch, a Happy Hands Studio staff member will call home for arrangements to be made. Please note that Happy Hands Studio does not have food for purchase and campers are not allowed to go offsite to purchase lunch.

What should my child wear to camp?

Dress for Mess! Acrylic paint does not come out of clothes, especially once dry. We cannot guarantee that clay or other art materials will come out of clothes. Students should always come to the studio dressed for mess.

How do I register my child for the camp?

Registration can be completed online through our website. Please visit the Summer Camp section for more details and to fill out the necessary forms.

When do we take home the artwork?

Artworks created during the camp will be taken home at the end of the camp session. Please bring a box or bag to transport all art home at the end of the exhibition.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made up to one week before the start date of the camp will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within one week of the camp start date will receive a 50% refund.

What if we arrive late?

Please arrive on time to ensure the smooth running of the class. Late arrivals disrupt the group and may result in unfinished projects. If you anticipate being late, please inform the studio promptly.

What happens if my child misses a class or day of camp?

Unfortunately, we do not offer catch-up classes for camps and PA/PD day workshops. Additionally, we do not provide refunds or credits for missed days, regardless of the reason, including illness or behavior issues.

Can I stay with my child during the settling-in period?

Camp operates on a drop-off basis only, without exceptions. Children should enter the classroom independently. Regrettably, we cannot offer refunds or credits for students unable to settle.

What is the policy on children's behavior?

We expect all campers to behave respectfully towards other campers and staff, and to follow the camp rules. Positive behavior helps ensure a fun and safe environment for everyone.

What happens if my child exhibits inappropriate behavior?

If a camper exhibits inappropriate or disruptive behavior, our staff will first try to address the behavior through positive reinforcement and redirection. If the behavior persists, parents will be contacted to discuss the situation. In cases of severe or repeated behavioral issues, parents may be asked to pick up their child from camp. This ensures the safety and well-being of all campers.

Does Happy Hands Studio take photos or videos during the camp?

Yes, we may take photos or videos during camp activities for promotional purposes or to share on social media. Parental consent will be obtained prior to using any images of children.

What happens if I am late to pick up my child?

If you are late to pick up your child, please inform us as soon as possible. A late pick-up fee may apply.

What is the policy on electronic devices?

We recommend that campers do not bring electronic devices such as mobile phones or tablets to camp. If they do bring such devices, they should only be used during designated times and stored safely during activities.
