Workshop Overview:
Get into the Christmas spirit with our Santa’s Jolly Plate Mask Workshop! Perfect for kids aged 6 and up, this festive session invites young artists to design their very own Santa mask using paper plates, cotton, and colorful decorations. From crafting and decorating to trying on their handmade Santa masks, children will leave with a cherished holiday keepsake — just in time for Christmas Eve!
Workshop Content:
- Introduction & Setup (10 mins): Welcome kids and introduce the Santa Plate Mask project. Quick rundown of the materials and safety instructions.
- Creating the Base Mask (15 mins): Help kids cut out the face area of the paper plate and glue red paper or color in the hat area. Adding Santa’s Hat &
- Beard (20 mins): Glue cotton balls around the edge of the mask for the beard and on the hat for extra fluff.
- Personalizing the Mask (10 mins): Add pom-poms for Santa’s nose and cheeks, or decorate with extra details.
- Wrap-Up & Mini Parade (5 mins): Kids try on their masks and take part in a mini-Santa parade with photos and lots of jolly cheer.
